Overall View"The American Dream" In other words what you may know it as a simple question. What do you want to do in life when you are older? Half of the class of 2017 looked a data starting with what social class you fall under and viewing this data seeing how much of a percent actually own a car or own a house etc. In today's world we get a lot of judgement because of where we fall on the money scale or even our racial background or something so small even where we grow up. The reason we wanted to go this project is to see the reality what this world has to offer us and most in part make the world a better place to set a great example of becoming a leader for the next generation. Below are some data we looked at but also a video we looked at. Homework started to kick in and I had to interviewed someone I knew I decided to interview my God father named Smitty. His American Dream was to becoming a professional tennis player but his dream would be cut short because he got drafted into the Vietnam war but lucky he didn't have to fight because his command sergeant saw his educational background. During the interview my Godfather was very passionate about the topic which meant he gave me a lot of detail which help in many ways mainly because I had to write a two pages on his story and two on historical events that were going on during that time. Throughout weeks my peers helped me make edits on my paper we had 5 drafts before our final paper there was a big difference. When I had to write a poem, about Smitty's story that would connect to the poem as I made Stencil that would go on wax paper that would be presented through a Cranky Box. We were also very lucky to do this project at this time because we got to work with a professional artist name Shinpei Takeda He was doing a great art piece at the New Americans Museum and his installation was called "Arrival".
