American Dream 2.0 American Dream 2.0 project was mainly to redefined a message that is sent to many young kids of what they would like to do in life. The American Dream of having lots of money and starting a family with a white picket fence and living life wealthy and as we can see the message its mainly for those who are not of color. We interviewed someone we knew and came up with a list of question to ask. One of the question that stuck with me was to first defined what is the American Dream, it's different for many people depending on your background of the way your grew up or I think the biggest one is your social class because those who happen to be more fortunate have a better chance. I interviewed my God father and he was coming of ages in the 1960's when I saying coming of age meaning 20 to 25 years old because you are starting to be on your old and you are a young adult out in the big world. My God father Smitty had a dream of becoming a professional tennis player but would be put on hold because of the U.S Army drafter him to serve for his country in the Vientnam war. I had to type up a two pager on his American dream being broken but also was required to give some historical background during that time. I did multiple drafts before being stratified on the final paper that would go in to the book that half of the class of 2017 had made

Night of exhibition
The night of exhibition was a great time since the first semester my classes was math, history and music we had to connect the project into music class the way we did it was we picked a decade year number out of hat and we had to perform a song my decade was the 1960's. We chose our song twist and shout by the Beatles but also we did some stenciling in music class and we put them in cranky boxes where we would tell the person we interviewed story.
